As Director of Special Programs for HCCSC, my passion aims to empower our students to achieve their PERSONAL BEST through the development of their own BELIEF, VOICE, AND PERFORMANCE.
To achieve this understanding, our programs ENGAGE students in their journey of career success, which begins with skills learned during early childhood. It is my duty to provide appropriate opportunities that challenge and excite students to stretch, grow and discover who they are. 
Our world is a fascinating place; our youth must be connected to real life experiences. Therefore, my priority lies in seeking community and family partners to fulfill nurturing relationships that encourage each child on their way! Every decision I make at HCCSC takes in the unique needs of all students. In recognizing individual gifts and talents, one is able to push past their limits while fostering confidence that fuels hope and dreams!

PHILOSOPHY:
Starting my 32nd formal year in Education, I dedicate myself to serving the whole student through a purposeful braiding of three areas: the academic, the social-emotional, and life readiness.
SERVICE MISSION:
ENGAGE...To inspire thought that embraces diversity.
EMPOWER...To produce creative solutions through collaborative interactions.
EXCEL...To perform one's personal best.
EXCITE understandings of life that propel life-long learning toward global citizenship.

My responsibilities within the district allow this to happen. I work closely with HCCSC administrators, teachers, school counselors and community partners to shore-up gaps and build bridges to increase student success through federal, state, and local resources.

I value family, community involvement, and service stewardship as avenues to develop the mindsets of youth. Ultimately, I seek partnerships where we become a 'team'.
