Riverview Collection & Pick-up

Riverview Families,

Your students will be able to retrieve student materials and drop-off school items at Riverview during the days of May 26, 27, and 28. We will divide the retrieval times and process in a manner that will help keep social distancing practices in place. Only students will be allowed in the building to retrieve student items and to drop-off school items. Students will need to return school items such as: MacBooks, band instruments, library books, borrowed books from teachers, textbooks, or any other items that belong to the school. They will be retrieving art projects, PE uniforms, materials from their lockers, or any other student items.

Students will enter Door 9 and follow the path to the tables that will be set up for them to drop-off school items and retrieve most student items such as: PE uniforms, art projects, etc. They will then proceed to the Media Center to drop off their MacBook.  Students will then head to their lockers to collect their own items. Once they have successfully dropped off all school items and retrieved all student items, they will exit the building through Door 13, which is directly across from the tennis courts, so they can go straight to the parking lot where you will be waiting for them.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

  • MacBooks - for your convenience, MacBook collection will also be taking place at HNHS. If it works better for your family to return your student’s MacBook to HNHS, please feel free to do so.
    • PLEASE NOTE: All student MacBooks, including chargers and cases, must be returned.
  • Medication - if your student still has medication at school, parents will need to come to the pavilion in the back of the building by door 9 where our clinic assistant will return medications to parents.
  • Social distancing will be enforced so a maximum of 100 people be allowed in the building at any time - this will be monitored by Riverview staff
    • Staff will be stationed inside the building to monitor social distancing of students
  • Students only in the building to keep numbers down - students will be expected to drop-off and retrieve items as quickly as possible
