Huntington North High School wrapped up a week of Homecoming activities on Friday. Students and staff members throughout HCCSC participated in ‘themed days’ during the week such as ‘Tie Dye Tuesday’ and ‘Where in the World Wednesday’. Special activities took place throughout Homecoming Week as well like Boys’ Volleyball and PowderPuff Football.
Typically, the Homecoming Parade starts off the Homecoming Festivities, however, the parade was cancelled due to inclement weather. The HNHS Vikings took the field against rival Norwell High School and started the night off right by taking the lead early on.
At halftime, the 2018 Homecoming Court was announced. Representing their respective classes are: Alayna Pohler and Landon Spencer - Freshmen, Lauryne Pearson and Luke Eckert – Sophomores. Rounding out the underclassman courts are: Maisy Kesler and Clayton Johnson – Juniors.
The Class of 2019 Homecoming Court consisted of: Julia Crist, Alexi Holzinger, Kyler Hoppingarner, Melissa Pharoah, Dane Fife, Cameron Jagger, Jarid Miller and Colton Mills.
Congratulations to the 2018-2019 Homecoming King and Queen Kyler Hoopingarner and Colton Mills.
