Eight teachers at Riverview Middle School were awarded 2020 Classroom Minigrant grants for their classrooms by CF Industries on Wednesday. The grants received totaled $1,238.
Historically, teachers at Riverview have applied for and received the CF Industries grants focusing on agriculture and STEM, and this year was no different according to Riverview Principal James Bragg.
“CF Industries is a fantastic community partner interested in rewarding teachers for innovative ideas that broaden our students’ view of agriculture through the lens of science, technology, engineering and math,” Bragg said. “We are thankful for all that CF Industries does for the students of Huntington County Community Schools.”
