The Huntington North Choral Department has always strived to be a beacon of positivity and professionalism for our community by providing safe, entertaining and truly first-class performance opportunities for our students over the past several decades. In fact, 2020 marks the 36th anniversary of our annual fall dinner-concert, Pomp and Plenty.
This year, we have gone to great lengths to ensure that our students can safely participant in activities such as this despite the current health crisis with which we are all dealing; however, in light of the recent rise in COVID-19 cases in our area and after many discussions with our incredibly supportive HNHS administrators, we feel it is in the best interest of everyone involved to cancel our public in-person performances of Pomp and Plenty scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday.
As an alternative to the public performances, we will offer a free livestream virtual concert on the same dates and times as originally scheduled.
Anyone wishing to receive a refund for pre-purchased tickets can do so by filling out the request form listed below. We will do our best to send your refund to you in a timely manner and apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused for you.
If you would like to donate your ticket money to the choir department, since this is a cancelled fundraising event for us and a major source of our revenue for the year, then we certainly appreciate your support of our program, and there is no further action required from you at this time.
Once again, thank you so much for continuing to support our kids. We look forward to the future of the choir department at Huntington North and hope that live, in-person concerts can happen again very soon. In the meantime, please consider joining us virtually for Pomp and Plenty on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. and/or Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2:30 p.m.
